Prior to launching my own grant writing business, I spent four years as Chief Development Officer of a social service organization, where I provided executive management of grants development, marketing and communications, special events, and donor relations. Today I work with non-profits of all shapes and sizes, helping them grow and thrive.

Prior to my time in the non-profit sector, I served as a writer and account manager for FrogDog, a marketing and communications firm, as well as a proofreader for the Texas Legislative Council. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State University with a B.A. in English Literature and am a current member of the Grant Professionals Association.

I am a native Houstonian and grew up in Westbury. Today, I live in The Woodlands with my husband, two kids, and a beloved hamster named Nibbles. I miss the hustle and bustle near the Loop, but have fully embraced suburban life. I spend my free time reading and pretending I know how to garden.
